We do our best to be active in the San Diego community through helping in a myriad of different ways.

The Animal Pad & Spicy Pupper Sauce!

The Animal Pad (TAP) is a local animal rescue that is very close to our hearts. In 2020, we had extra time and wanted to volunteer somewhere (specifically somewhere we could help dogs). We found TAP, and knew it would be a great cause to help out.

Slowly but surely, the puppy fever got the best of us, and we knew we were ready to adopt another fur baby. In September 2020 we rescued Pickles – a 6 month old, 17 pound super-mutt.

Pickles is now almost 3 years old, 48 pounds, and has so much love to give. She loves her brother, Marlon, who tolerates her craziness, lets her chase him, and fights over toys with her.

While we have stopped volunteering for TAP due to our schedules, we knew we wanted to give back to them for rescuing Pickles from Mexico, and bringing her into our lives.

In 2024 we also launched Spicy Pupper Sauce! This sauce donates a portion of sales to the Animal Pad’s behavior team to help get their “Spicy” Pups training!
